Parker: Opening to a classical nose that is starting to develop tertiary aromas of leather, cured meat, plenty of balsamic aromas and an herbal hint, the 2008 Finca Valpiedra Reserva, a blend of 94%Tempranillo, 3% Graciano, 3% Maturana Tinta (which might be responsible for the herbal touch, or perhaps it was the 2008 character) aged in barrel for 22 months. It feels very polished, accessible and fresh with those animal hints making a comeback on the tasty, almost salty, palate. It's easy to drink and has fully-resolved tannins. 100,000 bottles produced.
