The nose is still very tight and requires plenty of air. After a while it starts to reveal layers of broody black fruit - blood plum and blackberry laced with tar, coffee and dark roasted spices. The palate offers thick generous layers of complex fruit balanced by the well integrated oak and fruit tannin. This is a really exciting ride that hits all the right notes
